Memorial Day weekend officially kicks off summer – woo! I’ve been so distracted by the cold that I forgot what all Spring and Summer bring... Warmer weather means rooftop bars, beach days, picnics and…weekends out of the city. Who doesn’t love running full speed ahead out of this hot concrete jungle?
Mini vacays equal packing (ugh) and if you are going to stay with friends or family, it also means hostess gifts. Thankfully, I have a plethora of beautiful gift ideas at my fingertips so I’m never without ideas, but not everyone has that pleasure so I’m here to help!

I’m so excited to finally have a weekend at home after my recent travels, but that doesn’t mean I’m not taking full advantage of the long Memorial Day weekend. I’m thinking my special homemade BBQ chicken, grilled peaches, and white sangria in the park with some friends and hopefully a patch of shade.
