for our first location in a retail hub, we tapped architectural firm messana o’rorke to design an apothecary inspired by our original neighborhood shop – chelsea. mirroring the distinct dichotomy of our flagship, the space is divided into a bright white entrance done in venetian plaster dedicated to skincare and a dark fumed oak interior reserved for perfumery.

arabaseceto marble touches and an absolute black granite fragrance bar reinforce the juxtaposition, while james turrell-inspired lighting incorporated into niche displays brings a soft focus onto the products featured on every shelf.
